I was very sick with tonscilitis in my 5th week of suspected pregnancy. I have not yet been tested. I temperature of 39.7 º Augmentin 500/125 and took antibiotics, ibuprofen and gelocatil. I took Augmentin for 7 days, ibuprofen and gelocatil for 5 days. Could have caused something to happen. Could have caused a false layer?

I could not find an article that shows Motrin could cause a miscarriage. is not uncommon for women to abort their first pregnancy. I found the following reference, but could not find the original article: A study published in the British Medical Journal in 2003 found that women taking ibuprofen at the moment conception or in early pregnancy was noted over 80% of miscarriage than women in the study who did not take ibuprofen at the time. Women who took aspirin (also considered an NSAID) were 60% more likely to have miscarriage.
