Augmentin dosage
My son is in augmentin and terrible diarrhea?
My son is 1 year was recently diagnosed with an ear infection infections and stomach. He has been on Augmentin for an ear infection and gave him terrible diarrhea. I know it a side effect of the antibiotic, but it is the case for almost a week. I'm changing a diaper, sometimes up to 3 hours. I'm hydrated but I am still very worried about him. He was the pediatrician yesterday around him, and he got me back on your dose of Augmentin. No still help, though, and I wonder when the diarrhea stops. It stops whenever you stop giving antibiotics, or it takes more that? Has anyone ever had problems before with Augmentin?
Yes, diarrhea is a very common side effect Augmentin, like shit purple (not ask me why). You can load on starchy foods, bread, pasta, noodles, etc. I worked for a pediatrician and that's what I say, I can not make it disappear completely, but it will slow down a bit.
