Augmentin hives
How long does an allergic reaction to Augmentin past?.
I took Augmentin for a week and the day after my last broke out in hives dose. They have become so severe that I went to the emergency room and gave me a steroid and Benadryl IV. I went home that night and got up the next day and had a few hives but not as bad. But later the next morning, only 2 days I went to emrgency room I woke up and had to return to the emergency room because my face was swelling and the hives were back strength. My feet were swollen with face.This my time and gave me IV Benadryl. They also do I package of prednisone for 5 days. Can it really allergic reaction after this time, when I took Benadryl and steroids? I never broke out in hives before, so I'm I take allergic to Augmentin, but I took a week before I exploded. Is it possible for a drug for a week before break?
I developed an allergy to penicillin, when I was in my 30. I had hives for nine days. No I the resume. You may have to wear a medical alert bracelet stating that you are allergic to augmentin. You might have a reaction if ever Take the worst it again. Good luck!
