Amoxicillin dosage. Antibiotics revew.

Help, my dog is on clavamox and chlorpheniramine has not pooped, is very warm and is panting a lot.?

I’m not sure if this is normal or if i should take him to the emergency vet.
he is a 9yr old shih tzu, 2days ago he was outside going potty and when he came in he was snotring really bad to the point he could barely breath then started sneezing and blood was comming out. i rushed over to the vet and they gave him xrays and found nothing lodged in this throat or nose. they just assumed that he must have gotten into something or something got to him. they sent me home with clavamox (ammoxicillin) and chlorpheniramine (anti-histamine) i read the side effects and it said that sleeping, diarrhea, lethargy and vomiting were side effects. but after he’s been on the meds, he ate but hasn’t pooped, he’s very warm, panting and sleeping a lot. is this normal? i just want to be sure before i have to take him to the ER and rack up anothe $300 bill that i cant pay.. ugh…

Need to see if his temperature is normal. Enough sleep is the reaction of antihistamines. Amoxicillin is correct antibiotic for respiratory problems. But they should have done an X-ray of the lung.
He is already a certain age, but nothing that a good treatment but not with health and happy again.
Take it back to the vet for measuring temperature, and if appropriate, prescribe an antipyretic for fever. Please return to the query, they can not charge you anything.
