Amoxicillin dosage. Antibiotics revew.

I have a urinary tract infection and severe cramping. How do I get rid of them?

I went to the hospital Friday morning, with severe cramping in my left side. They gave me a sedative. (name unknown). I spend over two hours, then I wake up, five minutes after I passed out again. Turns out I had a urinary tract infection. It gave me a prescription for Sulfatrim. I havent taken yet because I Tonite. But they are just an antibiotic. Also told me that Sunday, if I did not get my time I should take a pregnancy test. The cramps went away for a while Tonite, but returned. Not as bad this time, but they are there nontheless. So far, in an attempt to relieve cramps, I had a menstrual cramp medication provided to me by my doctor (menstrual cramps are hereditary and my family these pills normally work), two Tylenol, a warm compress and I even had my friend, massage the area painful. What im wondering if there is nothing more than to return to the hospital to get rid of these cramps?

Have you more anti-pain pills? If so, take half of them and go to sleep in the bed position to take the pressure on the painful side. Place a heating pad on it and try to get comfortable and relax. If the pill strike painless, believe that the blessing at this point. A relaxing muscle if you can find to relieve cramps and certainly help you sleep. I hope you gave that extra painkillers you can make those.
