My cat is not reacting well to Clavamox?

My cat went to the vet two days ago for a possible urinary tract infection and received an injection of dexamethasone and perscribed Baytril and Clavamox which began yesterday. He had 3 doses so far and seems to sleep extra vomited twice last night and had diarrhea that night, then 10 minutes after urinating outside the litter box. It was a great amount of urine without blood on it which is good because I think this means that the Clavamox is to help UTI, but what about those side effects? Is it possible that did not pee in the litter, and just make a mess in there? He is capricious and has a history of peeing outside the litter box to prove a point, or may simply have gone bad due to infection and do not? Please help, I do not want to take her to the emergency clinic and tomorrow is the new year to the vet is most likely closed, is this normal, it happened to one of you?

Clavamox necessary sometimes eliminates bacteria in the intestines and causes diarrhea (and sometimes vomiting). Try giving your cat a plain yogurt (probiotics) for reintroducing the intestinal flora. I guess to avoid the litter box because of diarrhea, but may also be because a pain in the urinary tract. Please take your cat on dry food and put it all in canned foods to avoid further problems the urinary tract infection.
